Mastery

In the silence before motion,
the body already knows,
muscles whisper the sequence,
while neurons transmit ethereal signals,
before the mind can speak.

Ten thousand repetitions
sewed into sinew and bone,
until the doing becomes breathing,
until technique dissolves into instinct,
until thought births tranquility.

The hands move like water,
the tools now one with the body,
finding their path without seeking,
executing their purpose flawlessly,
each gesture a prayer,
each creation a transcendence
the flesh has memorized.

When effort marries stillness,
when flow kills rigidness,

Listen as the body speaks of these rhythms.

Mastery is repetition.

The path from conscious struggle to unconscious flow where ten thousand repetitions transform technique into instinct, and the practitioner becomes one with their craft.
